I hate that and when people assume that because you’re a teenager your life must be amazing. because yeah, we do have it easier compared to people who have to suffer in third world countries but that doesn’t mean that we don’t go through things and that we’re okay. because the average teenager does go through things and maybe in a few years it’ll look stupid but right now in this moment it freakin sucks and it makes us feel like nothing and that’s the worst feeling in the world. and yet for some reason no one bothers to truly understand how we feel sometimes.
you know what I absolutely CANNOT STAND? When people are like oh I’m a true fan or a real fan just because they liked something before other people. I see it with almost every fandom and I just can’t freakin understand it. I’m part of fandoms that I’ve been with since the beginning and some that I just recently discovered. But either way, I love it. I love it and it brings me joy and I just want the best for it. How can you say that someone isn’t a fan because they didn’t get into it at first? If you truly love something, just let it be popular. Yes, some people claim to be fans and don’t know a single thing about it and it’s okay to be angry about it but don’t hate a good part of a fandom just because they didn’t become a fan when it first started. I was just thinking about One Direction when I was writing this. I got into them end of last summer before Up All Night came out when the only single they had was WMYB. but I didn’t know of them before because I live in freakin America and don’t watch the X Factor. and I get some people did but I’m sorry that I wasn’t one of them. But you know what? I LOVEthose boys. I fangirl just as hard as other people. and how can you say that people now shouldn’t like them? How can you say the boys don’t deserve other fans? It’s not fair to One Direction, JK Rowling, Taylor Swift, etc. because you have a problem that you don’t have some sort of award for being a beginning fan. Other people have the right to love them to and the people you’re a fan of deserve to be loved for their hard work. Being a fan means wanting the best for them and loving them and most of all respecting them. Love your fandom. Respect your fandom.
…I’m kinda glad they didn’t. Yes, it would’ve been perfect for the fans and it would’ve been all happy and wrapped up in a pretty bow. But it wouldn’t have been right. Because for the past three seasons they haven’t been there. and yes, Tree Hill is their home but to bring Chad and Hilarie back wouldn’t have been right. They weren’t there for the whole of the nine years and that is perfectly fine but it wouldn’t have been the same emotions for them necessarily. but this, just the cast that was there all season, Naley and Brooke and Mouth who have been there since season one, this is how it was supposed to be.
I find that absolutely disgusting. I know that those tweets are just meant to be a joke but joking about eating disorders and self harm is totally uncalled for.
Naley. Always and Forever.
