Permanency. that’s something I’ve been thinking about lately. Particularly the verse, “it withers and it’s place remembers it no more.” THAT is the human life. So all that drama and crap you put up with has no point. There is no use to the worrying. That’s why you should turn your life to God. Maybe your name won’t be remembered after a while but your legacy will. Do everything in love. Love endures. Love will last. Your mark on this world won’t be grades or talent or even the amount of people you bring to Christ. Maybe you’ll be that one rare person who gets their name into a textbook but frankly no one’s really going to care about that. You’ll be dead, gone, and forgotten. But when you do something in love, that act will survive. It’s legacy will live on. I don’t remember the name of the missionary that first traveled to India from England but I”m sure glad he did. That’ what it’s really about in the end right? Not necessarily being known, but having what you’ve done be worthwhile to the kingdom. To be the two mile person in a one mile world. The thing is, god can use you, and if you do it with love, He can use you even more.
